This EP creatively combines mind provoking lyrics with celebratory orchestral arrangements, piano, all complimenting the indie-ish feel, pushing your thoughts upward. The lyrics and songs cause you to think on beauty and wonder of God’s gracious providential hand in the midst of living in a sin cursed world. Song writer and back up vocalist, Kenneth Padgett combines deep truths with poetic melody in his writing. The influences of band seem to be eclectic. Now, I know most of you out there in cyber-space are probably staying up late at night, laying in your bed wondering, “Why are styles always changing?” and “What makes something classic and timeless?” And that is exactly why I’ve written this post!

Another angle to come at this is “How can I know, I will get value out of what I’m buying?” First, to get value out of a purchase one must purchase something with quality built into the product or service. Quality can be seen in a product’s ability to reliably perform its function. Secondly, a product cannot be immediately deemed classic or timeless because this attribute is acquired by the test of time. Thirdly, public opinion is not something that can be declared by a company but by many satisfied end-users.

For a product or service to rise this status there must be at least four core features in place:

1) It should be consistent in performance.

2) It should have a quality design.

3) It should satisfactorily meet consumers’ needs.

4) It should be produced by a long time stable company that offers good customer service.

A product or service with these elements (in a capitalistic society) is a sure guide for it to become a classic in time. A computer company that seems to fit this profile is Apple. This weekend, my girlfriend got a new car. 2007 Civic

So I have been searching for a new car for my girlfriend for quite some time now. This weekend she got a new/pre-owned car. This is a huge relief, knowing she’ll be able to drive a more reliable car. We got a great deal on it at Carmax of Louisville. Our salesman, David Riggs was very helpful and the whole process was seamless. There was no haggling and David was very perceptive to her needs. Thank you David! This weekend was  wonderful for other reasons, one, being church was incredibly encouraging and uplifting. Also, got to pray and plead with people to be reconciled to their God on Market St. Also, I worked on an estimate for some demolition work. I hope I get this side-job because it will allow me to make some extra money just in case I feel like buying some bling or something.

Also, this weekend, we also had some all time highs in sales through Amazon with our coffee division. Overall, the weekend was fun and productive. I need to winterize my home, its over a hundred years old and drafty! So, I’m going to get some stuff from Lowes or Home Depot. Many restaurants and businesses have walk-coolers and freezers. The purpose of a walk-in is to keep food and beverages at a desired cool temperature, whether frozen or refrigerated. There are some important things to consider when purchasing a walk-in cooler or freezer. Here are probably the top five things a consumer would want to consider before purchasing one.

1. Consider your business’ needs: Plan in advance, before the construction of your kitchen to calculate your business needs. The industry standard says to plan for 1 cubic foot of space to refrigerate 28 lbs of food. This will help you to determine the appropriate size of walk-in cooler or freezer.

2. Consider the traffic level in and out of walk-in cooler or freezer: This will help you to determine the types of available options installed in the cooler. Having a ramp will help ease loading and unloading of the cooler. A strip curtain will help guard against temperature loss. Installing an auto-closer on the door will ensure that the door is always closed after use and thus save energy and money. The winner of the best cup competition was Chris Heiniger, who used a Cafe Solo. Second place went to Jessi, the manager of Sunergos Coffee. And third place went to Phillip Revell of Quills Coffee, who both used the Hario V60 pour over method. This is one of my favorite methods of brewing because its fun, interactive, and the resulting brew really depends on your skills. There were a total of six contestants. The competition was friendly and fun. I’m thankful for the chance to compete, it was a blessing. All the runner ups all got a bag of sweet, amazing coffee from Barismo…Thank you! It was a good night. I got to pull an espresso shot of of the Dalla Corte Evolution 2 Group espresso machine & Mazzer Mini Grinder with a 5 lb bag of Intelligentsia Black Cat Espresso.

I’ve never had such amazing espresso. It was so enjoyable, it was sweet, smokey, and caramel in flavor. I’m use to espresso tasting bitter, and tolerable…but this stuff was different. There is a real difference in flavor depending on the equipment, type and freshness of bean used.
